Toms River Councilman Maurice “Mo” Hill, Jr. Endorses Tom MacArthur

April 15, 2014
Conservative businessman Tom MacArthur is proud to announce that he’s earned the endorsement of Toms River Councilman Maurice “Mo” Hill in the race to fill the open seat in New Jersey’s Third Congressional District.

Councilman Hill stated, “As we competed for the endorsement of the Ocean County Republican Party leading up the Convention, I grew to respect and like Tom. He is a strong conservative, and his record as a business leader and job creator is truly impressive. I am proud to offer my endorsement of Tom MacArthur today as the best candidate to win this highly competitive seat and keep it in Republican hands. Whether it’s rebuilding after Hurricane Sandy or securing the future of Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, there are too many important issues facing this district to let Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi win this seat.”

MacArthur expressed his gratitude for Councilman Hill’s endorsement saying, “It is humbling to receive the endorsement of such a distinguished figure in our party. Councilman Hill is someone I truly respect and I am looking forward to working with him on issues like rebuilding after Hurricane Sandy and ensuring that Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst remains off future BRAC lists.”
